Tragically, you can't actualize your "escape" without this "component", but you can't reach this "component" while you're still imprisoned. You can have everything else you need to get yourself out, but in the end it's all worthless because you don't have the one component necessary to begin the journey. when your depressed, people can tell you what will make it better. It seems like your contradicting yourself, and yet I can't think of any other way of saying what (I think) you're trying to say. But whatever my experience is worth, I find this interesting. I've been diagnosed as such, but it's always been. I'm reluctant to say I have experience with depression.
